Bayswater district MP Heidi Victoria has urged people to drop unused disposable nappies in the box at her office so they can be provided to those in need.

Ms Victoria’s office is the local drop-off point for The Nappy Collective Drive from October 13th to 27th.

The Nappy Collective is an Australia-wide drive that collects unused disposable nappies and passes them on to organisations that support families affected by domestic violence, as well as families in crisis or in need.

Ms Victoria said she was pleased to continue her long time participation in the drive.

“It is terrific to take unwanted nappies destined for the bin, and redirect them to those who really need them,” Ms Victoria said.

People are also welcome to buy nappies from a local shop and donate them.

Ms Victoria’s office relocated recently to Suite 2, Mountain High Centre, 7 High St Bayswater. It is open 9am until 5pm on weekdays, just across the road from SPC.

More information can be found at TheNappyCollective.com.
